I’ve done a round-up kind of post once before. Since Jan’s question about eSIMs, I figure it’s a good enough time to do another one. To be honest, this one is mostly about mobile phone service—more practical than my usual whimsical stuff. But stick with me; I promise you’ll still get a few dashes of whimsy here and there.

I was in a chocolate shop in Concord yesterday and found this tiny piece of adorableness. The tiny jar is glass, can you believe it? It’s going into my suitcase with the rest of my breakfast-on-the-go paraphenalia.

My last phone was so old, it didn’t know but an eSIM was fit to eat. Getting a new phone this spring was my induction into the magical world of electronic SIM cards. What a time to be alive.
