I’ve been cramming too many things into too little time for the past two months. This week, my body decided it’s had enough of my shenanigans and shut all the way down. The sneezing fit on Tuesday devolved into fever, aches, and light sensitivity. Yesterday, I spent the day half-conscious on the bed with a towel covering my eyes. Since I can handle looking at a screen for a bit today, I’m reporting for Substack but on reduced duties.
Here’s a little round-up of new learnings and findings that—maybe?—you’ll find useful, too?
I made this book in January and finally got my hands on a copy!
When I talk with a homeowner about taking care of their house and pets, they often don’t know where to start preparing all the information I could possibly need while they’re away. Some leave me extensive notes, but when I arrive exhausted on my first day, the pet’s feeding schedule the only orientation I can take until I get a good night’s sleep.
That’s why I made this homeowner’s info workbook for housesitters. You can simply fill in the blanks with a pen or use the pages as your template to create your own digital document.
If you or someone you know plans to have a housesitter, this little workbook lays out all the information they’ll need in an easy-to-find order. It’s available on Amazon in a bunch of countries. Here’s the Canadian link. If you’re a paid subscriber, shoot me a private message and I’ll send you a digital version for free.
