It’s a busy weekend, so I hope you don’t mind if I substitute my typical word count with a bunch of other things.
First up, check out the weather in Marmari right now. With the wind chill, the “real feel” temperature is more like -4. I did not pack for these temps, but I have a couple of thermal layers I bought in December at the Sally Ann in Ottawa. Just spent the day transcribing, bundled up in the bedroom with the mini-split on bust.
But who can complain about a chilly week on Evia when Santorini a little south of here has declared a state of emergency? On last count, it has racked up 800 quakes in the past week—that works out to several every hour. This page lists and maps all the quakes in Greece in the past 48 hours, and it updates every few minutes.
