I haven’t actually read my housesitter profile in years, except to update a couple of minor details. My housesitting website has changed its format sometime in the past year, too, so I’m not sure what kind of first impression a homeowner gets of me anymore. In the spirit of benevolent procrastination, I’m choosing not to update that profile today. Instead, I’m sharing with you some things I’ve learned since I first set up my housesitter profile page.

You can set up a profile with basic information, but the right details can help elevate the impression you make when you’re applying for a sit.
