I’m re-reading Annie Dillard’s Pilgrim at Tinker Creek for the umpteenth time and thinking she and I might have similar tendencies towards solitary observation. Except that, whereas she indulges that impulse by staying put, I do it by travelling.
But I know how to bring my traveller’s curiosity to spaces closer to home. I used to do it often when I wasn’t the frequent flyer I am now.
You guys, I’m feeling a huge time crunch this week. Maybe it’ll be fun for you to see more photos and fewer words this time? Maybe it’ll be fun to spend this week looking at images from some sits I’ve done here in Newfoundland?
